Voting rights, along with action on Ukraine, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive rights, climate change, and racial equity have increasingly become topics of debate not just in government, but across and within the business community as well. Meanwhile, trust in government and the media is at historic lows, while business leaders retain more trust (Edelman 2022). We will discuss how business leaders navigate when to use their influence on social issues and ensure such actions are aligned with their values. This event is brought to you by the Business & Society Institute and the Leadership Now Project.
