This vintage was recently rated an incredible 98 points by Antonio Galloni of Vinous, who called the wine “stunning.” He went on to say: “In fact, it is one of the best recent editions I can remember tasting. What comes through most is the wine’s sizzling energy and tension.” Galloni also had high praise for the 2014 La Grande Année Rosé, which he awarded 97 points, stating it is “airy, gracious and full of energy.” Wally’s Executive Chef Ryan Kluver has designed a special 5-course meal highlighting seasonal, local ingredients, crafted to perfectly complement the series of spectacular pours Bollinger will be offering. Guests at the Wally’s event will be among the first in California to taste this highly anticipated Champagne, as the wine has not been fully released in the state yet. You’ll also get to meet winemaker Denis Bunner, as well as Cyril Delarue, a sixth-generation Bollinger family member.
