To begin Thursdays at FORGE on a light, caffeinated note, join us for "Let's Drink Coffee and Talk About..." in Roy's Place. Every week we'll set a broad topic and invite special guests who can lend their special experience, expertise, or enthusiasm. On March 31, we're drinking coffee and talking about farming, and we are PUMPED to welcome Yadi Wang as this week's "expert in the crowd." Yadi, a first generation and first regenerative farmer, manages the first regenerative organic certified farm, Oatman Flats Ranch, in the Southwest region. By using methods such as no-till, cover crop, and chemical-free practices, he is confident about the food and water quality on their farm... with 350 million gallons of water saved and 8.25 tons of carbon preserved annually. Yadi holds a Ph.D. in Soil and Water Science, Watershed Management and has been trained in chemical process and green infrastructure engineering. Thursdays at FORGE will continue upstairs in the Hub.
