The POY-CPOY Awards Weekend is filled with a day of great presentations, a gallery awards reception and in-person friendship! The fun starts at 9:00 AM Central time on Friday, April 22 at the Missouri School of Journalism in Smith Forum at the Reynolds Journalism Institute (401 S. 9th Street). “Conversations with the Photographers of the Year” includes presentations from POY and CPOY winners. We are hosting a day of incredible discussions with leading photojournalists and providing a free BBQ lunch!From 6:00 to 9:00pm, We are hosting the POYi and CPOY Awards Reception at Orr Street Studios (106 Orr Street) where we are showing this year’s POY/CPOY Winners Exhibition.For those who stay Saturday, April 23, POYi and CPOY will host a conversation with women Photographer of the Year honorees Yehun Kim, Gabrielle Lurie and Bernadette Tuazon at the Unbound Book Festival, 11:45am-1:00pm.
