Enjoy music, farm to fork food, and shop with eco vendors in the Ruby Beach Brewing's Outdoor Patio & Lawn. Cocktail Attire & Masks are encouraged. Special Earth Day Menu prepared by Green Legacy Farm's [Farmery Bakery & Bodega] & Eat Happy Jax Food Truck. This is a Zero Waste event with waste diversion stations provided by Apple Rabbit Compost. About Green Legacy FarmAt Green Legacy Farm, we are more than a farm... We are a legacy. A legacy of equity, shared knowledge, food security & sustainability in Jacksonville, FL. The farm was founded by Ashantae & Marvin Green, in 2021, as an answer to growing food insecurity and inequity within the local food system. We believe that our health and the health of the earth go hand in hand. We tend the land with a deep reverence and respect to keep it healthy and bountiful. We go Beyond Organic Standards and use No Pesticides, Herbicides, or Synthetic Fertilizers. Our garden beds are not tilled, which preserves soil carbon, organic matter, and moisture. In turn, beneficial soil bacteria, fungi, and earthworms thrive. This healthy, living soil ecosystem grows vegetables with Superior Nutrition and Flavor. We are excited to do our part to grow in a regenerative way that sequesters carbon and combats climate change. About the CausesProceeds from this event will benefit Green Legacy Farm Programs like school gardens, education programs & food security initiatives. Procced will also support, Greenlining Jax, a non-profit with a mission of addressing the lingering effects of redlining and environmental injustice. About the BeerGreen Legacy Farm x Ruby Beach Brewing Spring Beer Release is Jacksonville's 1st carbon-neutral beer! Locally Grown, Brewed, Composted then, Planted.
