Fruit Tree Grafting Class
USU Extension & The US Forest Service are partnering to offer a community workshop teaching people how to graft fruit trees. Cuttings have been gathered from the historic apple orchard at the Pine Valley Heritage Center in Pine Valley, UT. The orchard is estimated to be over 120 years old and established by pioneers. In addition to the historic apple trees, other apple varieties will also be available. The principals taught are applicable to other types of fruit trees, not only apples. Each participate will gain hands-on grafting experience and leave the workshop with 3 apples trees that were grafted by you!
If you have questions about the workshop please call the USU Extension office @ 435-586-8132
