Day in the Life
After booting up your computer and grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:
Meet with the lab manager to identify key projects for the day
Collect and analyze samples of waste streams from our customers
Determine if waste meets facility acceptance thresholds
Identify the proper method of isolation or neutralization of customer waste, and provide those details to operations
Test treated waste to verify it’s ready to move into the facility
Develop formulas and work on process improvement in the lab
Prepare and record data for review
Maintain a clean and safe lab environment
Manage inventory and supplies
Provide technical assistance to other departments as needed
What you need to apply
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (or related field)
0-2 year’s laboratory experience
Sound understanding of basic mathematics and chemistry equations
Strong computer skills
