Porter / Trash Collector Job Description: A very large residential property needs a Porter to maintain all buildings and grounds by providing cleaning services with emphasis on trash collections. Primary duty is to empty all trash receptacles and transport trash to disposal area. Keep areas around the trash containers clean; use of trash compactor. * Job duties can include cleaning outdoor furniture, BBQ grills, mirrors, and fixtures; washing windows, counters, walls, sweeping, vacuuming, resupplying rest rooms; replacing light bulbs. * Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up papers and trash if seen on the grounds or parking areas * Maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Provides excellent customer service to our tenants. Skills/Qualifications: Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. Follow basic safety and personnel rules. Must have ability to work with little or no supervision and be able to independently determine tasks to be completed.
