JOB DUTIES: In this role the individual will: • Operates heavy equipment (wheel loader CAT 988K/988H), loading customer trucks. • Maintains good customer relations and interacts in a professional manner with customers • Performs daily routine safety and equipment operation checks • Helps maintain a safe and clean work environment • Helps spot issues in plant and reports them to appropriate person in a timely manner • Other duties may be assigned as required. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • 3-5 years’ experience in construction or construction materials is preferred. • Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively. • Must have the ability to understand standard hand-signals. • Must have excellent visual-spatial perception and motor skills coordination. • Knowledge of and awareness of construction site hazards. • Ability to work under pressure, handle stressful situations and maintain flexibility. • Ability to maintain high levels of activity or productivity; operating with effectiveness, and determination over extended periods of time. • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and customers. • Ability to communicate on a two-way radio or similar device. • A valid driver license is required BENEFITS: Canyon Rock offers a competitive compensation program and benefits package including: medical/dental, paid holidays and vacations, life insurance. 401k is optional after the first year of employment.
