The seasons must-experience speaking and networking event focused on active duty military members and veterans, but open to all. Future Home Loans presents the industries premier inspirational speaking and networking event of the season. This event is for everyone, but will primarily focus on the active duty and veteran community, and veteran owned businesses and nonprofits. Join us as we draw inspiration from keynote speaker; green beret, war hero and author Nick Lavery, as well as the founders of Future Home Loans and other veteran community leaders. This event will be free but encourage donations, with the proceeds going towards local veteran-owned nonprofit programs. The days' itinerary will feature inspirational speaking, a "fireside" chat with the military veterans of Future Home Loans, and segments of get-to-knows with the veteran-owned business sponsors. The mission of Future U goes beyond networking, and aims to help light the path between leaving the service and entering the world as a civilian. Join us on September 2nd to meet others like you, ask questions from peers and leaders, draw inspiration, set goals, and create your own personal battle plan. This event is FREE but donations are encouraged. All donations and proceeds from raffle will go towards local non-profit veteran initiatives. Event Schedule 11:00 - 11:15 AM | Welcome and introduction Meet our hosts from Future Home Loans and prepare yourself for what's to come!11:15 AM - 12:00 PM | Get-to-know with veteran business leaders The sponsors of the days event will each have 10-15 minutes to discuss their background, their business, tips for success after military service, career opportunities, and what sets them apart as a leader in the military and veteran community.12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | "Fireside" chat Join the military veterans of Future Home Loans for a casual talk about about what it was like to leave the military and enter the world of finance and real estate. Learn from their highs and lows, and feel free to ask questions!1:00 PM - 2:00 PM | Break for lunch Provided by Future Home Loans and Mission BBQ.
