JOB DESCRIPTION / SCOPE OF WORK In partnership with a major TV and film studio, we’re staffing up for a retail pop-up store, inspired by one of the most beloved pop culture TV series of our time. We’re looking for a group of ambassadors who will be responsible for managing the guest experience from greeting customers, stocking the store, managing flow, working the register and one to two special people who will be in character! We’re looking for individuals who are intellectually rigorous, passionate, hardworking, like-to-have-fun, creatively curious and energetic to become the guests point of contact across multiple areas of the experience. MANAGER ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the overall organization, planning and operations of set-up and teardown Maintain & manage the on site equipment, displays and overall look of the store In coordination with the Ops team, manage & set up the POS systems located at each point of sale Work with the Receiving team to manage on site inventory of merchandise Manage daily sales reports of all points of sale, closing of POS's and any reporting for the finance team Responsible for creating employee schedules and validating hours ahead of payroll Maintain and encourage staff performance and growth over the course of the experience Resolve customer complaints, concerns & general needs Awareness of guest interaction, safety and overall guest experience Willingness to delegate and execute all other related duties JOB QUALIFICATIONS 5+years of experience in Retail Management role 3+ years of experience with employee and guest relations Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude Must be at least 18 years of age Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience ================================================================================================== IMPORTANT DETAILS Location: Oak Brook, IL Project Dates: April 25 - August 21, 2022 Open 7 days a week $25/hr Full-Time position for the duration of the experience Uniform (T-Shirt) to be provided, must wear all black pants and shoes Must be available for multiple days of training ahead of the experience opening (included in dates above) TO APPLY Email us at: [email protected] Email Subject Line: Manager - Pop Culture Series Retail Pop-up Store Include: Resume In the body of the email, in lieu of a traditional cover letter, please include a response to the following: Tell us about any pertinent previous and/or current consumer facing retail employment experiences, describe those experiences and tell us why you’re the perfect candidate to fill this position We look forward to hearing from you!
