Peaceful Schools, will provide training for using Community Circles for Tier 1 Session Description: Circles are a powerful tool to build connection as students return to in person school/program. Circles are an effective Tier 1 community building and social-emotional learning strategy. In this webinar, we will cover circle basics including how to set up your circle structures, holding the space for participants, opening and closing the circle, common circle agreements to support respectful participation. Participants will be given circle resources for leading their own circles with students. Duration: 6 hours Capacity: 30 participants Facilitators: 1 Lead Trainer, 1 support trainer Notes: All handouts and training materials provided Leave with scripts for particular situations, a network of peers to learn from and a day full of confidence building Community Circle work. Community is the answer to the disconnection our youth face, and we can build community one circle at a time!
