Free volunteer park clean-up event with Unruly Women & Three Rivers Park District :) Coffee & snacks too!! Meet up with Monica from Unruly Women and Lori from the Three Rivers Parks for a trash clean-up at Bryant Lake Regional Park Saturday morning at 9am. I’ll have some coffee and hot water available along with some snacks, but feel free to bring your own! Also, bringing your own mug is highly encouraged. Looking forward to seeing everyone! It looks like it’ll be a beautiful day. Volunteering is a great opportunity to learn more about the areas we recreate in, about the work that goes into maintaining trail systems/etc, and to give back to the community through volunteer work. Free volunteer park clean-up event with Unruly Women & Three Rivers Park District :) Open to all female identifying and non-binary femme leaning folks - you’re welcome to bring your kiddos along too! Coffee and some snacks will be provided :) Recommended: *Wear close toed shoes (it might be muddy with the rain we’ve gotten) *Layer up (it might be cooler in the morning, and warm up while we’re working so having layers to put on/take off will help you say comfortable and warm while outdoors) *Bring water and snacks if you like, and a re-useable cup or mug if you’d like some of the free coffee that will be provided. Meet at the pavilion - all buckets, bags, and pickers will be provided.
