NEW YORK CITY — Say "fuhgeddaboudit" to a smooth commute.
Multiple New York City subway trains ran with minor delays Thursday morning as straphangers made their weary way to work, according to the MTA.
MTA workers managed to clear up all the problems before they rose above the level of "minor inconvenience."
Some straphangers still saw delays of up to 15 minutes — but nothing abnormal for a morning commute. And definitely not anywhere near the hour-long traffic shutdown caused by a man climbing the Brooklyn Bridge's cables.
Southbound 2/5 trains were delayed after the NYPD dealt with a disruptive passenger at East 180th Street, the MTA announced about 9:15 a.m.
Southbound 2/3 lines were delayed when medics responded to a straphanger in need of assistance at the Bergen Street station, said the MTA at 8:45 a.m.
And Northbound N trains ran with delays when a train broke down near the 86th Street station in Brooklyn about 8:40 a.m., NYCT Subway tweeted.
Two different lines — the D and J — had their emergency brakes activated, according to the MTA.
And the J experienced additional delays after NYPD officers took someone who was being "disruptive" off the train at Delancey and Essex streets station, the MTA tweeted.
