Description
TRUMBULL, CT — The 83.2-acre Twin Brooks Park in Trumbull is slated to receive improvements, which "are designed to ensure the preservation of the Twin Brooks environment while creating a safer and more enjoyable experience for our residents," according to officials.
The project includes the repositioning of Twin Brooks Drive, where the park is located, which will create "a significantly improved riparian buffer along Booth Hill Brook."
Additionally, the park's steeper riverbanks "will be graded back to a gentler slope."
The Connecticut Post reported that the park, much of which is a watershed, also will receive drainage improvements.
The first phase of improvements is slated for completion by the fall.
