Description

We teach kids ages 10 to 18 how to design video games: coding, graphics, audio, writing and more! Want your kids to learn professional skills while having fun at the same time? Parents, bring your future designer (ages 10 to 18) to our FREE open house at UAH to learn more about Video Game Design Club. It's like a karate or dance class, but instead of kicking or jumping, we are coding and creating video games! Sessions happen weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 to 8pm. What is Video Game Design Club? VGDC is a flexible learning program that caters to the needs of each designer. Small groups will allow for focused learning and individual curriculums. Once students learn the basics, they will then be encouraged to build games with their newfound skills. Once a month on a Saturday, all members will get together for a Network Party and play games like Minecraft or Job Simulator VR or test the games they've made. Space is limited! We have 40+ members already in our program. They are all different ages and skill sets. No prior knowledge is required but you will need your own laptop. Software and instruction are provided. Where can you learn more? Learn more at videogamedesignclub.com What is the cost per month? https://videogamedesignclub.com/register
