Collecting signatures on a ballot initiative. All require being in public spaces, knocking on stranger's doors, and meeting people where they are. Those of us working on campaigns and initiatives love the work we do. But what happens if you're put into a hostile or potentially dangerous situation? How would you react? What would you do? In an ever-changing and seeminly more divided society, it's imperative that you have the tools and skills to stay cool under pressure and safe and secure when it matters most. Taught by a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with experience conducting complex criminal investigations for state law enforcement and Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, The Guerrilla Politic invites candidates, canvassers, volunteers, and organizers to attend this vital training that will teach you about real life scenarios and the practical skills that could potentially save your life.
