Always wanted to paint but don’t know where to start? In this *online* class, Christen Mattix lays a foundation for observational painting with an emphasis on modeling form using value and color. Learn the basics of light logic, color theory, as well as how to develop a painting from start to finish. Each session begins with approximately 30 minutes of new content, discussions, and demonstrations, followed by an hour dedicated to studio time for individual painting. With years of teaching experience, Christen provides expertise and encouragement as you begin your painting journey.
