This class does not provide certification to perform services on the public. This class is ideal for parents and college students. Total Look by Tha Empyress presents its "Hair Braiding and Maintenance Class for Beginners" introducing participants to the Basic Fundamentals of Hair Braiding, to include: Single Plats, Basic Cornrows (without weave included), Single Braids (with weave included), and Cornrows (with weave included). Participants are asked to bring a notebook, pen, live model or natural hair mannequin, and two (2) packs of braiding hair. Participants will receive eight (8) hours of group instruction plus twelve (12) hours of scheduled continued education until the participant can pass a written and practical exam. For Ages 10 and up.
