Danvers Electric Earns National Reliability Award

DANVERS, MA — Danvers Electric recently received national recognition for reliability and low outages times in 2021. The American Public Power Association, a trade group that represents more than 200 nonprofit community electric utilities, said its Reliability Team found that Danvers Electric customers averaged 46 minutes of outage time per year — which is well below the 136 minutes of average U.S. utilities. "We are proud to receive this recognition," said Danvers Utility Director David Lane. "It is a testament to the hard work of all our staff to ensure that we keep Danvers powered.
