Here are the top stories in Denver today: Denver home prices are higher than ever. A March report indicates that Denver's median detached home prices hit $660K โ the highest they've ever been. It's great news if you're a seller, but not so much if you're trying to get into a house. (9News) Catastrophic climate changes are coming if society doesn't make immediate changes. According to a newly released report, the world must halt its increase in greenhouse gases within the next three years, and eliminate their emissions entirely by 2050 to avoid irreversible global impacts. It's not all bad news, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report claims that we already have the tools necessary to make these changes, and they're cheaper than ever before. (CU Today)Increased risk of wildfires in Colorado this summer. Over the next four months, forecasters indicate that the Rocky Mountains have an above-average potential for wildfire activity. Meteorologists say there are several factors that could cause an active wildfire season. (9News)The TikTok viral video that helped a struggling Lakewood restaurant survive the pandemic. Clawful, the Vietnamese Cajun seafood restaurant in Lakewood, was on the verge of closing for good in October of 2021.
