Waffles - senior calico kitty cat needs a new home

Waffles is a friendly calico cat that has been with us for over 10 years. We got her as a kitten from a neighbor who already had too many cats and was unable to keep her. She got along great with our old cat Alfie, who sadly passed away a few years ago. She started getting very anxious and confused after Alfie died, and we got a new kitten to keep her company. Unfortunately, she has not gotten along as well with our new younger cat. Waffles is extremely friendly to anyone she meets and is very talkative. She will always remind you when it is time for her dinner! She has never bitten anyone and never had any medical problems. Now we are relocating to Southern California soon and don't think she would handle the move and long car ride well. At this point, she is just stressed out by her overly energetic young sister trying to chase her around the apartment. We think she could get along well with another older pet, kids, or families.
