DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO—There are two upcoming opportunities in Douglas County for eligible residents to get tested for COVID-19.
If you work in a high-risk or high-priority occupation, live in a long-term care facility, have traveled recently or were in close contact with someone known to have COVID-10, residents qualify to be tested at one of these two drive-thru events:
Aug. 13 – CU Denver South, Lone TreeAug. 25 – PACE Center, ParkerAll events are from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. or until test kits run out (200 tests per day per location) and are FREE to eligible individuals. Antibody testing will NOT BE OFFERED at these events.
You will be asked to show a photo ID with your name. Samples of identification accepted are:
State issued driver license or ID cardPassport (any country)School IDConsular ID cardRTD pass with your name and photo on itMilitary IDThe personal information you provide is confidential and is only used to ensure proper follow-up after your test result.
Tests from the Douglas County Community Testing Event will be processed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) Lab. Residents can expect to hear from the lab with your results in 5-7 days, however, the turnaround time may be increased or decreased depending on lab capacity at the time of processing.
