Press release from the West Des Moines Historical Society: April 6, 2022 We are now accepting applications for the 2022/23 class of James Jordan Scholars Leadership Institute. The program is a unique opportunity for high school juniors to learn about the real-life value of leadership in our community, directly from those leaders working in areas James Jordan excelled. Students must be current sophomores who will be juniors in the 2022-2023 academic year and registered to take Advanced Placement U.S. History or American History in their junior year. Successful applicants will have an interest in local history and a desire to learn and enhance their leadership skills. This press release was produced by the West Des Moines Historical Society.
