ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department has made a series of arrests over the past week involving a variety of criminal charges. Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty. ARRESTS Donald Dunning, 32, Itasca, was arrested at 9:58 at March 30 in the area of Route 53 and Greenwood for driving with an expired registration and on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $9,000 (10 percent to apply for the warrant). Marlene Mercado, Beach Park, was arrested at 3:55 p.m. on March 31 in the area of Taylor Road and Paragon Drive and charged with driving without a valid drivers license, speeding, and driving with no insurance. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply. Michael Parker Jr., Plainfield, was arrested at 7:32 p.m. on April 1 in the area of Weber Road and Normantown and charged with driving while license suspended and driving without lights. An I-Bond was set at $2,500. Leroy Koontz, 26, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:42 a.m. on April 3 in the area of Romeo Road and Route 53 and charged with speeding and driving with no valid drivers license. An I-Bond was set at $2,500. Octavio Esparza, 39, Cicero, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. on April 3 in the area of Weber Road and Lakewood Falls Drive for aggravated speeding, DUI. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply. Juan Garcia, 25, Romeoville, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. on April 3 in the area of Weber Road and and Normantown for aggravated speeding in construction zone. An I-Bond was set at $2,500. Ulysses Munoz, 19, Romeoville, was arrested at 10:56 p.m. on April 2 in the area of Weber and Normantown for aggravated speeding in construction zone. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance. $2500.00 personal recognizance Donald Underwood , 62, Plainfield, was arrested at 8:52 p.m. on April 4 in the area of Taylor Road and Pinnacle Drive and charged with DUI , driving with no insurance , failure to reduce speed, drivers license not on person. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Daniel Guzman, 31, Romeoville was arrested at 10:02 p.m. on March 31 in the 400 block of Macon on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $1,000 with 10 percent to apply.
