Press release from The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians: April 7, 2022 The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians announced Tribal Council election results today, Tuesday April 5, 2022: Tribal Council Chairman Reid D. Milanovich was elected to his first term as tribal chairman. Milanovich vacates his Vice Chairman position, and a special election will be held in coming months. Tribal Council Secretary/Treasurer Vincent Gonzales III continues in his sixth consecutive two-year term.Tribal Council Member Jessica Norte was re-elected to her third consecutive one-year term. She also served as a Tribal Council Member in 2004, 2005, 2012 and 2013. Tribal Council Member John R. Preckwinkle III was elected to his second one-year term in office. The Tribal Council elections are a matter of tribal law, and are managed privately by the Election Board. The results of the March 15, 2022 election were certified and became final on April 5, 2022 when the Tribal Council Members were sworn in.
