ASBURY PARK, NJ - If you're seeking an Earth Month project to make the Jersey Shore just a bit cleaner, look no further. The city of Asbury Park will be sponsoring an upcoming clean up at Sunset Lake and Wesley Lake. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on April 30. For the Sunset Lake clean up, volunteers can meet at Bond Street and Sunset Avenue. Participants can meet at the Biergarten on Lake Avenue for the Wesley Lake clean up. The cleanup initiative is a joint effort from the Sunset Lake Commission, the Sunset Lake Park Conservancy, the Wesley Lake Commission, the Citizens and Friends of Wesley Lake, the Environmental Shade Tree Commission and the Mayor's Wellness Committee. Supplies will be provided.
