A Unique Opportunity to be part of a cycling crew and compete in the RAW Starting on June 10 in Oceanside CA and ends in Durango CO on June 19th. ALL Expenses Paid. A Trek Mechanic experience a plus. Must be 18 and have a valid driver's license. Only those that are IN IT TO WIN IT apply. Other requirements are but not limited to driving the support vehicle, navigating the course, exchanging food and water, or whatever is needed to help the cyclist. A supportive, flexible and positive attitude is a MUST. This is not a 9 to 5 job. although there will be a lot of sitting in the support vehicle. The race is only 1000 miles, and the goal is to get the cyclist across the finish line in first place. There will be a minimum of 3 training sessions before the race. The crew chief is a woman so you will have to take directions from her. Compensation will be based off of the level of experience of bike repair: assembling the bikes on location, oil and lube components, changing tires, adjusting gears, derailers, chain adjustments or replace, brakes and any other adjustments that are needed.
