WOODLAND HILLS, — A Los Angeles Police Department SWAT Team has been called to Woodland Hills where a potentially armed man is barricaded. The standoff with police began just before 7:30 a.m. in the 5500 block of Canoga Avenue in Woodland Hills, and it was ongoing as of 10 a.m., according to the Los Police Department. Officers initially responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, said LAPD Officer Matthew Cruz. The department has deployed several additional units to the scene including a police dog and mental health resources.
