CULVER CITY, CA — Two suspects were arrested this week on suspicion of an armed robbery in Culver City in March and authorities said they could be tied to other robberies in Southern California. The Culver City armed robbery happened at the Overland Mini Mart, 4273 Overland Avenue, at about 7:55 p.m. March 24, according to the Culver City Police Department. The suspects were taken into custody and arrested Tuesday, police said. "Both suspects were arrested by an outside agency," police said. "After a thorough field investigation was conducted by patrol officers, Culver City Police Detectives received the case and began their follow-up efforts," according to a police statement."After collaborating with outside agencies, CCPD Investigators learned that one suspect had committed at least three additional armed robberies in Fontana and Montclair." Investigators collaborated with these officers to identify the suspects, who have extensive criminal arrest histories, police said.
