KENNESAW, GA — One man is safe after the plane he was piloting crashed Thursday morning in Kennesaw.
Cobb Parkway north and southbound lanes have reopened after being shut down for several hours between Dobbs Drive and Kennesaw Due West Road.
One pilot was inside the aircraft, and he is safe, police said. He did injure his leg, but it was minor, and he did not want medical treatment, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The pilot, who has not been named, was piloting a single-engine Grumman American AA-1.
