Press release from the City of Douglasville: Post Date:04/07/2022 12:36 PM The Norfolk Southern Corporation will be closing the existing McCarley Street Railroad Crossing effective immediately. A new signaled crossing has been installed as part of the State Route 92 Relocation Project. Norfolk Southern anticipates opening the new crossing next week. Until the new crossing is open, residents will need to utilize alternate routes.
