Description
Looking to start/join a band or project. I'm 40, I play guitar and have a bunch of incomplete songs and riffs in mind. I grew up playing three and four chord punk, now am more into a punk-adjacent sound. Imagine if bands like The Men, Fucked Up, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Built To Spill, Pinback, Meat Wave, The Wipers, and Arcade Fire all recorded their own versions of Hollywood Nights and Still The Same by Bob Seger and put out a comp. That's kind of what I want to go for. Something familiar but unique.
If you want to get together and smoke some weed, drink a beer, and jam let me know. Serious about recording and playing some gigs and putting our name out there, but I've got a kid and a career and "making it big" isn't high on my list of to-dos.
