Stax/Malaco - influenced singer looking for musicians

Hello everyone. I'm looking for musicians who are good at what they do, and want to come together to form a band. Hoping to start out with Stax and Malaco covers. I also have written and recorded southern soul material of my own. I'd like to try and capture that classic Malaco and Stax sound, yet with our own 2022 flavor. Hope to get started with the following: A fluent Hammond Organ player Lead/rhythm guitar Piano/keys musician Drummer Woodwinds/Brass sect We can begin with open-mic night. Got a couple spots in Woodstock, Atlanta and Henry County. And paid gigs/performances will soon follow. But we need the band for sure so we can get the ball rolling. Don't respond it you can't commit and dedicate yourself to rehearsing and performing. This won't be a good fit if you're just looking to play in your garage and basement.
