Two of us were to watch over a friends house while she was away for a week. I was to go by a few days and he was to spend the night there a few times. Toward the end of the week, I stopped by, found the door slightly open. I took a picture of it, went inside, no sign of a problem, then found that the door knob was in the lock position. It seems the other guy left the house and did not pull the door completely shut. I texted him, asked when he was last there, he said two days before, so the house was open a day, a night, and half a day. I am not friends with this guy. Since there was no loss, should I tell the home owner or say nothing and leave it up to the other guy if he wants to tell his friend he screwed up.
