NEWARK, NJ — Newark ranks high among large U.S. cities that will need "the most initial coronavirus vaccinations," a recent study claims. On Thursday, financial information website WalletHub released a list of "Cities That Need the Most Initial Vaccinations Against COVID-19." Researchers ranked 93 of the nation's most populated municipalities based on factors such as each city's share of frontline health care workers, nursing home residents, essential workers and residents diagnosed with various diseases. See the full list and methodology here. New Jersey's largest city, Newark, ranked 10th-highest on the list. Detroit was at the top of the list, followed by Cleveland, Birmingham, Memphis, Louisville, Toledo, Baton Rouge, Buffalo and Cincinnati.
