JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Must be good with your hands and know how to safely operate tools including, but not limited to: o Power tools including drills, saws, impacts, etc. o Nail guns, glue guns, staple guns, etc. o Soldering tools & wire cutters - Must have experience with hardware o Familiar with different types of hardware (i.e., different sizes for nuts, bolts, washers; different thread sizes for screws, different types of screws, etc.) - Responsible for inspecting & packaging new inventory o Inspect new items for damage o Package, palletize and shelf all new inventory in the warehouse - Responsible for managing & maintaining the warehouse o Driving & operating a forklift o Moving and organizing pallets on shelves - Travel using company vehicle to pick up and/or deliver shipments and/or for installation of products; travel for an installation locally, out of town (in state) and occasionally out of state. All installs that require extended stays will be covered by the company, including travel & lodging expenses paid. o Installation types: ▪ Digital Signage ▪ Custom video walls ▪ Hanging touch screens that range in size from 24” to 86”, weighing anywhere from 30 – 350 lbs. (the higher weights will require more than one person to handle) ▪ Installing touch screens with table kits & kiosks - Responsible for learning assembly instructions and all hardware necessary for all of our products - Responsible for building shipping crates using plywood (on pallets) for shipping large items; must be able to properly measure and saw wood REQUIREMENTS - High school graduate (or GED) or above - Ready and willing to work on time every day, Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM (CST) - Able to effectively communicate professionally in a work environment - Able to develop solutions and utilize critical thinking - Willing to take direction, but also works well independently - Able to physically lift at least 50 – 100 lbs. - Must have a valid driver’s license o Able to drive a pickup truck with heavy cargo/trailers o Knowledge on how to properly & securely hitch a trailer to a pickup truck - Experience driving a forklift & using a pallet jack in a warehouse environment PREFERENCES - 2 – 5+ years’ experience in Warehouse Management - Computer savvy is a plus - Any technical support knowledge is a plus
