DISCLAIMER: Not to sound like a jerk, but I'm looking for a situation with WELL SEASONED "PLAYERS"! Most of the calls I've gotten together with are "Amateur, Home Hobbyists" that have tons of great gear (paid for by their previous lives as doctors, lawyers, etc...and God bless 'em), that now want to live out their Rock Star dreams, but wouldn't know Mixalodian from Sir Mix-A-Lot. For goodness sake Play, Play, Play...but be realistic before making that call. It's a waste of my time and yours...and I don't have it to waste anymore. OK. For those of you still with me: Been here a few months. Had planned to semi-retire due to med reasons, but feel good enough for some rehearsing and gigging. I'm not a kid anymore (50's) so I NEED likewise seasoned players. Pretty much good with any kind of music. Not really looking for originals, but would make an exception for quality stuff. Have even played with some name acts (one with a huge #1 hit you've all heard). Played for 40,000.....and played for 4 (oh well). Just got done with 33+ years in Vegas bars, casinos and showrooms when not traveling/touring. Excellent gear (From 4 string Fender with flats for "Old School" to $7K Spector 5 with rounds for "Modern/New School"). Multiple amps. FX available. Excellent transportation. Totally dependable.
