Music therapy is an evidence based therapeutic practice of addressing a client’s psychosocial, emotional, spiritual and physical needs by a credentialed professional using music interventions. It can be difficult to open up in traditional talk therapy. This is where music comes in – it is a universal language; it helps us express what cannot easily be said with words alone. In addition, we offer piano and voice lessons to all ages and all abilities. Unlike traditional music lessons, where the goal is instrument mastery and a perfect performance, therapeutic lessons promote creative expression, positive coping skills, and a healthy self-esteem.
