Help me re-home/re-nest an orphaned baby squirrel

Hi Eugene community! I had a baby squirrel fall from its nest in the yard. Unfortunately, it's an Eastern Fox Squirrel, and the local wildlife centers will not take it because it is a non-native species. I've created a safe space for it at the base of the tree it fell from, where its mom can get to it and carry back to the nest if indeed she's able. I don't have the resources or knowledge to take care of this critter but I also don't want to see it die. Does anyone have any advice/contacts/resources for this situation?
