Ekstrom Carlson is looking for a new team member with experience in repair of industrial machine components (An Auto Mechanic is also a good fit). We repair spindles, live tools, aggregate heads, and gear boxes for industrial equipment. We may also train the successful candidate to operate manual mills and lathes.
Experience required - 5 years plus years in a mechanical, repair, or maintenance background
Immediate job responsibilities and training locally at our facility, will include, but not be limited to:
*Disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of mechanical spindles, live tools, and aggregate heads for machining centers. We find that skills from the auto repair industry often work well in this field.
*Potential for work in our test stand running repaired machine components and some manual machining.
*Looking for people who are pro-active and customer-focused and capable of producing only the highest quality repairs and parts to satisfy our customers.
