Background Boomerang Moving & Storage is based in Holyoke, MA, and is a subdivision of Boomerang Storage, LLC, formed in 2008. Boomerang Moving & Storage’s core focus is on local residential and commercial moving services; however, we currently conduct moves up to a 300-mile radius from Western Massachusetts. Our team can handle all jobs ranging from small 3 hour moves to multi-day jobs/projects. We hold a Massachusetts moving license, an active US DOT authority enabling us to conduct intrastate and interstate moves, and are fully licensed, bonded, and insured. Lead Mover. The Lead Mover plays a very important role on the Boomerang team. The primary roles of a Lead movers position are to shape the customer experience, supervise the moving team, lead projects varying in size (larger projects with training in time), drive up to 26' trucks and handle furniture disassembly / reassembly and assist the team with moving items. Required Qualifications Valid Standard Driver's license (CDL not required) Able to drive 15-26' box trucks Experience leading move jobs or leading a labor crew Ability to problem solve on the fly Positive attitude 4+ days of availability per week Must be honest, hard-working, and strong Friendly and well-spoken.
