  ***Sign On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, Housing and Vehicle Allowance***   Position Snapshot The Environmental Compliance Manager is responsible for managing activities related to the facility’s environmental permits, programs, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.  Assesses compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and acts as an advisor to internal customers. Some travel may be required.   Day in the Life After grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you: Participates with management personnel in establishing procedures for administering regulatory compliance programs. Provides regular reports as required by governmental agencies and senior management. Reviews reports and records of site’s quality assurance records. Reviews environmental legislative developments to determine changes in legal requirements and probable effects on company activities. Prepares and maintains permit applications and modifications. Interfaces with environmental auditing activities to ensure conformance to standards and company environmental policies and guidelines. Prepares regulatory reporting. Establish and monitor permit required activities. Tracks staff goals and objective. Reviews and assigns staff activities on an appropriate frequency (daily, weekly, etc.) Maintains site permits and interacts with regulatory agencies. Provides technical review and approval. Reads and interprets regulations, legislative developments, and permits. Performs oversight of groundwater and other environmental monitoring programs. Engage with the local communities as appropriate and when occasions arise. Interfaces with regulatory inspectors during facility audits and provides follow-up agency. Performs other, related duties as assigned. What you need to apply Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (e.g. chemistry, geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, engineering) Proficient computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as third party or internal software) Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
