Established local custom cabinet company looking to fill door department / specials position. The responsibilities of this position require assistance with & independent manufacturing of solid wood & sheet material cabinet doors & related specials products for high end European style cabinetry. Applicants must have advanced woodworking skills and/or clear understandings of woodworking & door-making processes, as well as cabinet industry standards. This position will require the applicant be familiar with basic and advanced woodworking hand & power tools as well as organize, guide & assist other employees and be able to organize and confidently manage schedules & deadlines. Experience is required but we are willing to train the right person that is highly motivated & excited for the opportunity to excel in an upscale & fast-paced family environment. Willing to pay very competitive wage for highly qualified and experienced applicant. Good attitude, personal presentation and the ability to work well with others in a shop environment required. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Hands-on role in manufacturing custom "specials" & door related products - Cut & prep parts components from raw materials - Read & accurately recreate products from drawings - Work with management team in achieving production & deadline goals - Safe operation of woodworking tools including saws, shapers, routers, sanders & clamping systems. - Participate in and contribute to team directives - Assist in other areas of shop when needed - Contribute to quality control QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: - Proficient with woodworking tools, stile & rail door construction, European & face frame cabinetry - Ability to read & comprehend shop drawings & cut lists - Good knowledge of hand tools, abrasives & finish techniques - Safe operation of electric & pneumatic power tools. - Accurate use of measuring tools including tape measure & caliper - metric & standard - Laminate & veneer layup processes - Good personal appearance & professional presentation - Personally organized, self-motivated, dependable & focused PAY BASED ON: - Specific cabinet door construction knowledge / experience - Previous woodworking and/or management experience - Woodworking/Cabinet industry experience - Flexibility & attitude A resume must be provided for consideration, please include phone number in the body of your reply.
