Description
NEWARK, NJ — Newark will temporarily close some streets to accommodate more free coronavirus testing sites for local residents.
The closures will begin Thursday and last until Saturday, Dec. 5. Streets closures will begin each day at noon, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Drivers are urged to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes, authorities said.
The additional testing sites will be provided at the below locations from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Bloomfield Avenue between Mt. Prospect Avenue and Summer AvenueElizabeth Avenue between Meeker Avenue and Renner Avenue Friday, December 4
Bergen Street between Muhammad Ali Avenue and 18th AvenueFerry Street between Jefferson Street and Madison Street Saturday, December 5
