Street Closures In Newark Due To Extra Coronavirus Test Sites

NEWARK, NJ — Newark will temporarily close some streets to accommodate more free coronavirus testing sites for local residents. The closures will begin Thursday and last until Saturday, Dec. 5. Streets closures will begin each day at noon, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety. Drivers are urged to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes, authorities said. The additional testing sites will be provided at the below locations from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 3 Bloomfield Avenue between Mt.
