East Bay Logistics is seeking a reliable Foreman for our food grade coffee warehouse in Sumner, WA. This position contributes to the success of East Bay through assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring all daily job functions are completed. The ideal candidate will have high standards for cleanliness and organization, be a team player and passionate about running a smooth operation. Key Responsibilities · Assists warehouse manager in supervising the operation · Responsible for overall day-to-day activities of warehouse dock and floor operations · Assigns daily tasks to work teams, performs tasks as needed to get the job done · Monitors productivity on the floor, addresses performance issues and communicates incidents to warehouse manager · Leads and engages work teams on the floor, boosts morale while increasing productivity · Reviews and analyzes daily staffing needs, makes recommendations to warehouse manager · Ensures all daily warehousing shipping and receiving functions are conducted properly, safely and timely · Ensures equipment is operational and functioning properly, notifies warehouse manager of repairs or additional needs · Maintains a clean and organized warehouse Qualifications · Strong leadership and motivational skills · Supervisory and employee training experience · Strong written and verbal communication · Teamwork, time management and reporting skills · Basic computer literacy · Forklift operator certified · Ability to occasionally team lift up to 155 lbs.
