drummer looking for Surf/Psych/Garage sounds

I’m a simple drummer with a DIY punk background. I’m looking to start or join an existing band that is in the title’s genres. I also write and play minimal guitar and root note bass. Modern Bands I’m into right now.. Allah-Las, Cool Gouls, Night Beats, The Growlers. Classic bands I love: 13th Floor, The Sonics, The Troggs, All that late 60s grimey psychedelic rock. That being said I love folk, Indie, Motown and Surf music. Surf is kinda king in my world. I love lyrics but its never been my strong suit. So I’m down with a lead guitarist running the melodies. Ive toured, recorded, and have two useless art degrees in audio and film. My goal here is to collaborate and record at least an 5 track ep. Then play shows, shows are not a priority for me until there is a product digital or physical. I don’t want to play covers at the brass tap (nothing wrong with that) or get stuck in the cycle of playing shows and not creating more music. I am currently in a instrumental band, we meet once a week and that’s not enough to fill my cup.
