Why am I E-listed? I'm scared in here!! Is this a reason to take my life away? NO! I need an experienced, patient foster that understands fearful dogs like me. Can you save my life? I am a 2-year-old, un-spayed female, white Labrador Retriever Mix (42.2 lbs.). I came in as a stray at the shelter. I was so scared I had to be snared to get me in my kennel! I did NOT bite but was shaken and trembling! I do tolerate leash placement in my kennel. In the yard, I am best with humans approaching me to my side. I am a bit scared of a "front" approach. I do eventually warm up and can give "licks" when given a treat and allow gentle petting. I need a home with a foster that will go SLOW with me and give me time to build trust and confidence. No dog-to-dog eval was done, so I don’t know how I would be with other dogs. I am being treated for a “doggie cold” and getting better. I'm just afraid and need out of this place ASAP.
