Growing local paving, sealcoating and concrete business seeking general laborers to fill hourly positions. Job Description: The paving and pavement maintenance Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor at parking lots and driveways by operating one or several types of maintenance equipment. This position may also require routine repair and maintenance of equipment in addition to other duties. Sealcoating Crew Laborer Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Blower, weed wackers and/or wire broom to clean surface prior to application of seal coat or crack fill material. • Application of crack fill material utilizing a crack seal kettle and a wand. • Application of seal coat material utilizing a long handled squeegee and/or spray wand. • Perform other duties as assigned Paving Crew Laborer Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching or prep crews. • Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools. • Equipment cleanup as needed. • Operation of rollers, skid steer, paver, etc. • Perform other duties as assigned Concrete Crew Laborer Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • General laborer duties associated with concrete services; such as removal, forming, installation and finishing. • Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools. • Equipment cleanup as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned Qualification/Requirement • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and dusty environments. • Be willing to work weekends when necessary. • Be able to work overtime when required. • Must have strong work ethic • Ability to work in a team setting • Communication skills; Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times. • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. • Must have a valid drivers license.
