ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Howard County Department of Community Resources and Services' Medicare 101 and Medicare 102 are just two of the latest programs being offered virtually by Howard County's office on aging and independence. Anyone who is new to Medicare or has a loved one just starting in the Medicare program should participate in the virtual programs to learn more about Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, and how Medicare works. The next program will be July 21. To register, call the county's State Health Insurance Program at 410-313-7392 (voice/relay). There are other virtual programs available through the county's office on aging and independence such as cooking, exercise and more.
